Seven Yays

A family with a big idea came to me to help launch their unique business into the e-commerce world. The unique gifting experience presented a set of challenges that needed to be handled with special care.

Problem

With an all-new idea and lots of possible ways to execute we needed to understand the best way to approach this website.

Solution

We started by presenting the SevenYays team with a variety of options for how we could approach the build. Each had some restrictions and each had a different budget associated with it. Since this was an all-new idea it was important to balance building an ideal customer experience without committing to a path that might need to change later.

• Custom React app built into Shopify theme
• Worked with designer to modify theme for brand guidelines
• Explored requirements and presented options for custom functionality execution

Working with Craig has been a real pleasure and provided an end result that I am very happy with. Craig took time to understand and explore the needs of what is a totally new e-commerce concept, considering and explaining the various options before settling on a clear project path which for us involved some bespoke development.

The knowledge base and technical capabilities of Craig and his team are undoubted but the real value add from Craig is that he also has a great commercial mind, and really understands both customer behaviour and operational efficiency - this experience has been invaluable in designing an intuitive user experience and a really efficient back office set up. His communication has been spot on and has worked really collaboratively throughout the whole process.
