What it's for

An .ics file is a calendar event you can send to anyone — they double-click it and it's in their calendar. It's the reliable way to share a launch, sale, drop or in-store event without asking people to copy the details across by hand.

Works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook and anything else that reads the standard format.
Leave the end time blank and the event runs for one hour. Tick All-day event for events with no set time.
The download is named after the event title, so it's obvious what it is.

Why it's safe to use

There's no server on the other end. The calendar file is built entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, stored or logged anywhere. Close the tab and it's gone.
